My whole life I have always been a very determined, ambitious, hardworking individual, I have always refused to quit on any goals or dreams I have desired no matter how hard the road to get there may be, it is also all I know and have been taught to do. I fell in love with sports at a very young age, I fell in love with sports for various reasons at a young age I fell in love with the feeling of winning. As I grew older I understood the concept at a much deeper meaning. I was challenged, I was faced with adversity,I learned how to be accountable, I learned how to be a leader, I learned the importance of selflessness, I fell short of the goal many times and it those moments I learned the importance being relentless, getting back up and trying over and over again and never letting fear of failing stop me. Fortunately that translated to my real life and has influenced me to be the individual that I am today. All of those skills were taught through my teachers and through my coaches, they had the greatest influence on me and made me believe I could do anything I wanted to in this world. At a young age you are easily influenced and the only thing you want to know is people care and love you, I want ALL of my students to understand that I chose this profession because I believe this is my calling on earth to help young adults not just win championships or compete for state title or get 100’s on classroom material. I want them to learn skills they can translate to their life to set them up for success and to win in life. I want them to understand they have purpose and they can do anything, and more than anything I want them to know they are loved and cared for.
