My psych experience consists of caring for adult pts who are on Suicidal Ideation precautions and providing medical care for pts who are either too medically unstable to go to our Behavioral Health Unit or who are awaiting BHU placement pending room availability. I am trained at utilizing the Ultrasound for IV placement, and have successfully completed the graduate nurse residency program at SJRMC. This included the development and implementation of the "4 eyes in 4 hours" skin assessment program that is now initiated upon a patient's admission at SJRMC and has aided in the prevention of HAPIs. I have also served as a travel nurse, caring for MedSurg patients as well as pediatric patients. I am currently ACLS & PALS certified.
