  • Raised $100,000 to test the product in pre-clinical settings though research funding agencies.
  • Participated in an intensive three-week entrepreneurial Innovation Commercialization Assistance Program (ICAP), part of NSF I-Corp Regional Program which involved engaging major stakeholders in healthcare.
  • Won $3,000 through the NSF I-Corp regional program.
  • Won the Virginia Innovation Partnership Corporation (VIPC) Commonwealth Commercialization Fund (CCF) as a Co-Principal Investigator (announcement to be made in January).
