I’ve had great opportunities over the years to work in the vanguard of health care supply chain. Opening one of the first dedicated IDN’s in the healthcare sector in the country in 2007. This distribution network continues to serve the 15 hospitals in the BayCare system, as well as dozens of outpatient Imaging and Lab sites, freestanding ER’s and physician offices.
More recently I opened BayCare’s newest hospital, St. Joseph’s Hospital South in 2015.
My background in procurement, contracts, distribution and project management was a huge boon to me as we opened the hospital. I was able to leverage my supply chain experience to build partnerships with physicians and clinicians throughout the hospital to help us achieve our goals and set us on a path of success with our KPI’s.
Opened BayCare’s newest 250 bed hospital. Created a supply chain framework capable of supporting the entire hospital 24 hours a day. Responsible for implementing annual cost reduction strategies and achieving top decile performance in KPI’s.
Led a team that opened one of the first IDN’s in the healthcare sector. This new distribution center continues to serve BayCare Health Systems’ hospitals. Implemented new WMS to help track and trend our KPIs. Initiated daily cycle counts for over 8,000 unique stocked items in the warehouse. Responsible for an inventory of over $40 million.
