Role: Project Coordinator under Leading Edge | from 2017 to date

About: An annual program aimed at empowering emerging Namibian female leaders to confidently and effectively step up and stand out in their leadership roles. It is held in the month of June, and features 3 essential components which ultimately provide for an engaging and inspiring learning experience for all who participate.

My duties included:

Coordinating the junior team and making sure everyone knows their tasks and delivering on them; determining gaps and shortcomings in the planning process and forming working strategies; Liaising with all involved stakeholders; planning and coordinating the event series; ticket sales; handling administration functions of the project; procurement of different needs for the events; planning itineraries for guest speakers and booking accommodation and flights; attending the different events and monitoring the progress of the events.

2. Publication of the bi-annual book FOLLOW HER LEAD: Inspiring lessons from Namibian women at the leading edge
