My name is Yi-Ting Cheng. I was born in 1996, in Taichung, Taiwan. I am a friendly team player. I hold a bachelor’s degree with a major in Business Administration from Soochow University in Taipei and I used to be studying international business at Tung-Hai University. Since I had grown up with my uncle from Australia in my childhood, I love Brisbane and always wanted to live there. Besides my major, I chose German as my second language. I am willing to learn things from failure and always have the courage to continue reaching my goal.
I had been chosen to the English speech contest during high school several times. I always have an open mind to experience different cultures. Therefore, I was employed by the European Education Fair Taiwan to help with the exhibition. Also, I joined AIESEC to be responsible for International Global Intern Project which had to develop companies’ needs and welcome foreign interns to make sure they had a good working environment in Taiwan. Moreover, I am also an efficient dorm worker. I really cherish the people I’ve met during work and enjoy the time we cooperate together. For example, I used to be an ambassador in the dorm and held many activities for residents. These experiences inspired me to seize the opportunity to become an active doer.
After graduating, I worked in the customer service department at Cathay United bank. I learned a lot S.O.Ps and banking. I also went to an internship in a consulting company, I really enjoy the things we’ve done during work. After that, I worked in an accounting firm, which I'd really cherished, until facing the covid pandemic. I entered the second accounting firm which is Crowe Howard, and it was an unforgettable experience. I really miss my colleagues in the company because we used to cooperate in solving problems and having lunch together. The last job I had was a part-time job at Noodoe, which is an EV charging company. I was an assistant in the business consulting department and I learned some skills in collecting markets information and investigation,
Now I am a master's student at the University of Queensland, and ready to embrace more challenges in my future career. I really enjoyed the teamwork experiences. Especially, I cherish the team spirit and friendships I own. In the future, I am looking forward to cultivating more abilities from every aspect and hope to develop my working potential.
