Organizational Change Readiness Research
2020: Conducted a group organizational diagnostic project to evaluate the change readiness of the Athena Insurance Group organization and provide a proposal of recommendations for undergoing the process of transitioning the organization to a permanent, hybrid work-from-home model. This entailed identifying their stage in the life cycle, benefits of WFH, action plan of change initiative, timeline of change initiative, and follow up measures/success factors.
Organizational Cultural Assessment & Intervention Research
2021: Conducted an individual organizational and cultural assessment of my organization Dublin Hyundai. This entailed analyzing the organization's background, data collection and analysis, identification of dominant cultures present, identification of areas of misalignment, and recommendations/interventions for bridging the gap and shifting the organization to their desired cultural state.
Organizational Consultative Research
2021: Prepared and presented a group organizational consultation for UnitedHealth Group (UHG) representatives. This entailed creating and proposing a change central to the needs and desires expressed by UHG representatives. This included an in-depth analysis of UHG's group brand and identity, culture, strengths and opportunities, which led to the development of a change initiative targeting job design and an internship program. Our change proposal was recognized as being highly credible, in which I was identified as being one of four most effective group members in the class and most likely to be invited back for an actual job interview with UHG.
Human Subject Research: Patient Healthcare Experience
2021: Conducted a group research experiment to test potential factors that determine patient satisfaction for North Mississippi Medical Center (NMMC). The combination of the COVID-19 pandemic and the implementation of a Pre-Admissions Testing Center (PAT) led to targeting warmth and competency levels in staff. This entailed hypothesis development and testing through survey methods with an analysis and discussion of the findings implicated from the results of the study.
Master's Thesis and Oral Defense: Impact of Organizational Culture on Satisfaction with Remuneration
2022: Individually prepared and conducted a focused comprehensive research project that aimed to examine the four types of Organizational Culture (Clan, Adhocracy, Market, and Hierarchy) and the impact they have on an employee's degree of satisfaction with their relative remuneration (SWR) packages. The particular characteristics of organizations influence the perception of satisfaction or dissatisfaction one has with the organizations in which they currently operate under. This project entailed a thorough literature review of the various constructs examined, hypothesis development predicting the potential results of the study, detailed methodology that was used to navigate the process of the data accumulation, analysis of results utilizing multiple regression, and a discussion surrounding the implications these results have on employees, managers, and consultants. Overall findings illustrated that two types of organizational culture were most predictive in determining SWR along with other mediating characteristics such as age and gender.
