For the past decade, I have worked as a QA engineer collaborating with various QA teams and on complex functional testing (manual and automation) on multiple types of applications. I am passionate about bug hunts and am known as a hard-working team player who loves to learn. I thrive under pressure and this can be seen in my history of successfully dealing with deadlines and product deliveries.
Was the first QA in the entire organization and was responsible for setting up QA practices and setting up the QA automation framework. Have worked for a client which is one of the largest CPG companies. Have built and groomed a team of QAs. Have taken training sessions for establishing the QA vertical at an org level.
- Creating extensive test plans and test strategies focusing on releases.
- Own up product quality from end-to-end and be aware of the production environment and analyse issues reported by real-world users.
- Participate in sprint ceremonies and take QA action items for continuous improvement in test automation.
- Co-own the release pipeline and communicate deliverables efficiently to key stakeholders.
- Lead QA efforts for a product or component and plan and execute end-to-end testing across STLC.
- Work with Technology Lead & Developers to understand requirements and design and develop detailed test cases
around it.
- Responsible for various dimensions of testing (functional/non-functional (i., e performance, scalability, security etc.),
ensuring a quality experience for customers.
- Identifying the need and performing cross-browser testing.
- Report test group activities to Project Managers, Development Managers and Product Owners. (Test Execution, Defect
Reports, Coverage Reports).
- Advise management team and pioneer the setting up of QA processes.
- Define QA processes, and practices and collaborate with product teams for adherence.
- Produce test cases for detailed and high-level requirements.
- Execute manual testing across multiple web browsers and devices.
- Perform post-deployment smoke testing.
- Assisted in Data Quality checks that resulted in better and more efficient client onboarding.
- Co-owned the customer support ticket management responsibilities resulting in faster response time.
- Analysed customer tickets to discover areas of friction within the product.
- Content management for onboarding of new universities.
- Data curation for the medical schools in US universities.
- Creating Functional help documents for training purposes for new users.
- Worked on L1 and L2 tickets for the DHL delivery system on the IBM product sterling commerce.
- Perform smoke tests for Change Requests.
- Perform various warehouse, inventory and order management tasks for the client DHL.
