Javier Roman-Pavajeau

I started my own pressure washing company about 3 years ago. It started out as a small neighborhood hobby, but after the first year, it got a lot more attention prompting me to take it more seriously. I got business cards and started promoting my business online and soon after I started working in pearland and different areas all over houston. I was responsible for everything from transportation all the way to maintenance on the machine. I did driveways, shutters, walkways, roofs and etc.. After the first year, on average I would have one or two houses a day which would keep me busy all day.

• Learnt many things about how to run a successful company while simultaneously having a role
• I was responsible for business development and marketing
• Reported back to instructor to receive day-to-day tasks and responsibilities.
• Communicated effectively with faculty and staff and accepted critiques and suggestions for areas of improvement.
• Interacted with customers by phone, email or in-person to provide information.
• Helped with promoting the company through social media as well as through networking
