I care for children starting from infancy-home from the Hospital, that have complex diagnosis. They have trachs and are on vents, G-tubes, need medications administered and nebulization treatments and more. I work in the private home where the family resides and work with the family and children I am assigned to. I do peri cares, feedings, dressing changes etc while monitoring the childs condition. I change the vent tubing as clean up the equipment used daily. The reason I leave the home is the client I cared for passed away. I am in the home five plus years.

I worked as a LPN charge nurse performing typical LPN responsibilities including observing, reporting and documenting patient activities, status changes: providing physical, emotional and social needs to patients; implementing appropriate nursing interventions, monitoring and flushing IV's, collecting specimens, preparing and administering medications and treatments; receiving orders ad evaluating results of treatment., wound cares, straight cathing and more. I gained considerable experience in death and dying and consoling family members. This job was 24 hours a week occasionally picking up open shifts as they occurred.
