Bomi Koo

I am native Korean and currently living in US.

I have always been interested in learning different languages and cultures and that led me to choose my major in college along with my career later in my life.

I worked as English teacher for many years and that also contributed a lot to my language skill .

I also lived in Canada for 5 years , there I learned a lot about north American culture by watching TV, Movies , and interacting with people .

I also lived in Okinawa Japan for 3 years , there I interacted with many local people and Americans.

I'm married to American so I'm pretty much exposed to American culture most of time but I also like to keep up with Korean trend as well.

I watch many Youtube contents and movies whenever I have time and I noticed that now days K-pop is getting extremely big in the market so I see a lot of those contents have Korean English subtitles and I found myself constantly look at the subtitles to see if the translation is correct or not. Sometimes I feel like I could do that much as well , or sometimes I think the translation is a little bit off and it made me want to try the translating work myself.
