In my free time, I make a mean matzo ball soup an even better Ajiaco Bogotano (a traditional stew).
I have an interesting background. My mother is a Jew from NY and my father is first generation American, originally from Colombia. I am very passionate about diversity and teaching my two year old daughter to own and embrace the importance of her heritage. I have had an interesting life - and was a bit of a late bloomer. I traveled quite a bit prior to meeting my husband and it was to no one's surprise when I married a commerical international pilot ( I really didn't know when I met him)! I love to cook and spend time with my family, and I am someone who is driven to always look beyond where and I am and what I'm doing, to continue to grow get better, and make the most of the hours in my day.
