

Experienced Public Administration professional with a strong background in adolescent health in primary, and secondary pregnancy prevention management, and community service. Currently pursuing a Ph.D in Public Policy and Administration and seeking a university-level instructor’s position with a preference for online teaching opportunities. Responsibilities includes grant writing, the implementation of an evidence-based secondary pregnancy prevention program for male and female adolescents up to age 19, training interns, and community outreach with home visits with adolescents and their children in Vance County. Collaborate with community agencies while supporting the initiatives of The Executive and Program Director of Franklin Granville Vance Smart Start Inc.
Established direct working relationship with residences to maintained rental contracts, financial receipts and deposits, while supervising maintenance department. Maintained CAMS database that updated tenant and unit information to keep current in housing database.
Implemented The Girls Incorporated Program, primary pregnancy prevention partnership with Durham County Health Department while overseeing our after-school program utilizing the tutoring at a distance Internet Program with North Carolina Central University. Collaborated with community businesses, schools, and agencies to obtain volunteers, speakers, and materials. Developed the first Healthy After-School Snack Program, and Parent Support Group to help with extra curricular activities. Supported community out-reach of the Executive and unit Directors.
