Taken part as both a teen staff (2016- 2018) and a teen staff supervisor at my local church's 5 weeklong day camp.

Responsibilities included

-Directing functions for summer camp in order to create engaging opportunities for children and their families

-Designing and implementing weekly alternating schedules, activities, and programming for the camp group for that designated week

- Organizing and leading group activities such as crafts, songs, games, swimming, lessons, and opening and closing session ceremonies.

- Identifying and responding to camper behavioral issues, and report concerns to camp leadership.

- Providing basic first aid to campers when needed

- Communicated with parents regarding participant experiences, and how to improve experience for campers.

- Maintained records, including incident reports, logs, and daily attendance reports.

- For the Role of Teen staff supervisor observed and monitored teen staff tasks, while checking in and ensuring satisfaction and overall well being of staff.
